Raising a generation of Hispanic leaders to serve their communities and strengthen their churches.

Preparing a new generation of Hispanic Christian leaders is a key responsibility in strengthening our churches and our society. Our purpose is to provide comprehensive training, resources, and practical tools that help develop, educate, train, and equip visionary leaders who are prepared to serve with excellence both within their churches and in society.

We believe that strong churches and well-guided communities require leaders with principles, a deep biblical understanding, strong character, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit—leaders capable of influencing their environment, defending Christian values, and making decisions that reflect the Kingdom of God, whether from the pulpit, in education, media, politics, or any area of society.

About Us

  • The NAHPA Leadership Institute is a dynamic program designed to empower young Latino leaders from across the United States. Our mission is to cultivate these emerging leaders through comprehensive training and education, ultimately preparing them to make significant contributions both in their local communities and on a national scale.

Our innovative curriculum is structured into two distinct phases. The first phase consists of 12 virtual sessions, where participants engage with leading national organizations. These sessions focus on four key areas: Biblical Worldview, Public Policy, Transformational Leadership, and Public Theology. Additionally, we offer three specialized courses in project development. In these courses, students are encouraged to conceptualize and plan a realistic project they're passionate about. This involves creating a detailed business plan, exploring logistics, and preparing to pitch their ideas to potential funders and investors, turning their visions into actionable plans.

The second phase of the program is an all-expenses-paid week in Washington D.C., providing an immersive, hands-on experience. Here, students receive in-person training from top D.C. organizations. Past experiences have included exclusive tours of the Museum of the Bible and participation in major conferences, where students interact with prominent Christian leaders from various sectors like politics and business. This intensive week culminates with the presentation of their final projects and a graduation ceremony, where students receive their certification.

This entire experience serves two primary goals. Firstly, it aims to elevate and inspire Latino leaders, enabling them to make a profound impact in their communities, states, and the nation, regardless of their backgrounds. Secondly, we hope to foster a deeper connection with these leaders, encouraging them to join our broader vision. We aspire to expand the National Hispanic Pastors Alliance through future internships and collaborations, building a stronger, more inclusive future together.

  • Hispanics are on the rise and growing with them is the evangelical church’s influence all over the United States. There are more and more Hispanic protestant churches in the neighborhoods and a growing interest of the communities to attend them. 35% percent of Hispanics in America now call themselves “born-again”. Dozens of conversations with members of several congregations and with other Hispanic evangelicals and conservatives around the country over the course of the year make clear that religious identity would be a fundamental part of their political affiliation as their ethnic identity.

    But, At the same time...

visiting Hispanic communities throughout the country, we have come across an alarming reality: the lack of civic and political commitment of the new generation of young Hispanic Christians and conservatives. We must take action now.

The NAHPA Leadership Program is a training experience for young Hispanic leaders between 20 and 35 years old, organized by the National Hispanic Pastors Alliance.
